Spikopatomus Bag Pattern

A Limited Edition, Aggressively Cute Bag!

Difficulty: Easy

The party you are attending is at the dancing after dinner stage and you've danced to all the good swing, waltz, and rhumba numbers. The band is playing something for the younger set who don't know the intricacies and beauties of partner dancing, so you're taking a break.

You sit down at your table, a sip of water, a sip of wine. You fetch your purse from its place on the table where it warns away interlopers and keeps your seat. You put it in your lap. A little click and you open your Grace Kelly's Overnight bag to reveal her black silk lining. And there is Spikopatomus, wonderful incongruity, spikes looking sharp enough to bite but soft to the touch. Fabulous sensation as you roll the little spikes across your palm, click open Spike for mirror and lipstick. Quck check before the next good dance number, this time tango. Perfect.

  • Large and Small Alien Skulls

    Alien Skull Ornament

The Alien Skull Ornament, available in large and small sizes, adds a bit of whimsy to your bag. We chose to decorate Just the Change, Anouk, and our Lipstick and Change CITY bags with Alien Skulls: we found that the femininity of the bags made the skulls appear almost benevolent, even cute! But don't limit yourself to decorating just bags: jeans, t-shirts, boot, jackets, belts, and anything you can rivet is fair game. We've got our eye on the bottom of a pair of flared blue jeans for our next endeavor. Add the decorated Anouk to the ensemble, and we've got a statement to make!
