W Bag Pattern

An Elegant Bag in Two Sizes

(155)
Difficulty: Easy

Who is W? Winsome. Wise. Worldly. We don't know her name, which makes her decidedly mysterious. Or perhaps insecure? No, impossible, with such a lovely frame.

She's the perfect size to keep a big secret (or two little ones). Somehow she crosses the boundaries of class distinctions and attracts attention of the highest sort. At home in a Monte Carlo casino or an English manse, she is just as likely to be found at a bonfire or strolling the beach. What is her secret? She won't tell.

  • Simple Elegance Frame in Three Finishes

    Elegant Snap Frame

    (FE-)

    Metal Finishes:

The elegant frame is attractive, practical, and versatile with a distinctly vintage appeal. It is an ideal frame for felted, fabric, and leather bags, because it is a sew-in frame with sew holes that are invisible on the outside when the bag is finished.

Used in many Noni designs, including Amazing Grace, Three Nights in a Row, Petit Four, Fancy Party, and others, the frame converts from a handbag to a clutch when you squeeze the bottom of the little handle. The handle comes easily out of its attractive housing, making it clutch.

    Shepherds Wool Worsted

    (SW-)

    Color:

This yarn is increasingly hard-to-find! If you love it, best to buy it now. All yarn sales are final.

Here's why: We have recently learned that Stonehedge Fiber Mill will no longer be wholesaling their yarn as they lost their dye house. While they will continue to produce beautiful merino yarn for your enjoyment, they will begin to dye their own yarn. What this means, is that what is in stock now is all that we will be able to get. If you love this yarn, now is the time to stock up!
